Dr Soh Yu Jie

Dr. Soh Yu Jie earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore (NUS), graduating with distinction in physiology and a place on the Dean’s List.

Following his undergraduate studies, he gained valuable clinical experience across several public health institutions before returning to NUS to complete a rigorous three-year Master’s program in Endodontics.

His postgraduate training emphasised on the diagnosis and management of dental pain, non-surgical root canal treatments and retreatment, the management of cracked teeth, and root canal surgery.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Soh is actively involved in academic and research pursuits.

He has contributed to multiple scientific publications and presented his research at various international dental conferences.

His study on the risk factors and outcomes of dental trauma in pediatric patients was showcased at a seminar organized by the European Academy of Paediatric Dentistry.

With a strong passion for helping patients retain their natural teeth through effective root canal treatment, Dr. Soh co-authored a publication exploring how maintaining one’s natural dentition can positively impact overall quality of life.

His interest in advancing innovative approaches in Endodontics also led him to design a scaffold to help pulp regeneration, this scaffold design was then subsequently published in a peer-reviewed journal.

He is a visiting clinician at the National Dental Centre Singapore and is also a member of the Singapore Dental Association and the Society of Endodontists (Singapore), reflecting his ongoing commitment to professional development, education and excellence in patient care.
